Tristan Ford has a diverse background in entertainment, travel, herbal medicine, acupuncture and chocolate making. After meeting the cacao tree for the first time in Belize in 2007 he fell in Love with cacao. From the soil and jungles where it lives, to the people who have cultivated it for countless generations and the plethora of ways it can be used. After leaving his career as a pyrotechnician, Tristan turned to chocolate making before taking on training in Qi gong, acupuncture, and Chinese herbal medicine. He is a graduate of Oshio College of Acupuncture and Herbology in Victoria BC, and now lives on a Chinese medicinal herb farm in Royston BC.
